DUTIES (Including, but not limited to)
I. Generate sales of luxury carpet and rugs
a. Cultivate existing accounts; identify, contact and develop new account relationships
b. Prepare and give sales presentations to interior designers and architects
c. Time will be spent both in front of customers as well as in the showroom.
d. Attend industry functions

  1. Showroom responsibilities:
    a. Promote showroom use among architects and interior designers
    b. Participate with team members in events at the showroom

III. Correspond with customer service to ensure questions are resolved in a timely manner and exceed client expectations

ABILITIES (Including, but not limited to)

  1. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to develop relationships
    b. Comfortable presenting one on one or in front of small groups
    c. Organized and punctual
    d. Self- motivated
    e. Able to understand floor plans
    f. Sense of color, design and styles
    g. Skilled with basic Microsoft Office Suite software

Job Requirement

Must be capable of navigating the territory with a rolling sample bag
Must have valid driver’s license

Experience: 3 years sales experience selling to high end interior designers and architects
FLSA Status: Salaried with commission and bonus opportunity
Other: Professional appearance and demeanor

Experience: Sales experience with similar luxury goods preferred
Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
