Position: Outside Sales – Account Executive
Reports to: VP of Sales
Job Summary: The account executive will be responsible for generating business and developing relationships with new and existing accounts while maximizing company visibility and market penetration in the specified territory.
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS/Undergraduate
- 3-5 years of sales experience with A&D or a related industry
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Duties: Include but are not limited to:
- Conduct formal presentations to accounts within the territory
- Develop strategies for penetrating the marketplace
- Establish new accounts through lead generation
- Project Management
- Ensure satisfactory coverage of geographic area
- Attend industry functions (IIDA, ASID, NEWH, etc) as appropriate
- Attend trade shows in related markets as needed
- Develop thorough knowledge of products and policies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to quickly learn product features and benefits
- Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages
- Ability to establish priorities and work without supervision
